An every-few-months club night in London.. for people who love to dance...

Be entertained with go-go action from the Actionettes all girl dance troupe, plus guest singers... Dance to 60s girlgroups, soul, garage, punk, rock & roll... Actionette DJs play floor-stomping tunes all night...


The Actionettes present... Go-Go-a-Peel!

The Actionettes present a night in homage to the Avengers, hosted by London's favourite troupe of glittering go-go girls!  Wild 60s dance routines will intersperse sets from Theoretical Girl and the Equations with support from the deBretts.

The crowd can get involved as well, as Actionette favourites, the vintage clothing stall, dance class and dance competition make a return.  Actionette and guest DJs will provide a soundtrack featuring the best 60s soul, girl groups, Motown, garage and pop.

Theoretical Girl has been going from strength to strength recently with new backing band, the Equations, adding an extra dimension to her live performance. Playing what she calls “simple, honest pop songs” and we call damn good tunes, we’re looking forward to her headlining the night.

Support comes from the deBretts, whose gigs have been winning them accolades since 2006.  An infectious post punk band who have described themselves as “the coolest of chick affronted punk rock brash pop happenings on the block”, it’s worth coming along to see how they live up to that description alone!

Membership

Registration is free. Click the link below to send us an email saying that you'd like to become a member (don't forget to tell us your name!). A nice shiny card will be on the door at the next club night and you can get in cheaper!

Please note: membership is not available on the night itself. If you're bringing friends (yay!) make sure they register for membership first. Otherwise they'll have to pay the non members price.

Registration closes at midnight the night before the club.

All members will be added to the mailing list which will keep you up to date with Actionette goings on. If you're applying for more than one membership, be sure to include an email address per application. These are strictly for the Actionettes mailing list because spam sucks. Don't worry if we don't reply to your application straight way. We go through emails and make up the cards usually a few days before a club night
